My collection of cheap guitars

Always wanted to exhibit my collection of cheap guitars. Cheap price not cheap sound. So here I go.

Some Japanese guitar from the 70-80s. I bought this guitar for 30 Euros in a flea market in Lyon. I was in a bus with my buddy Charles when I saw this baby. Needless to say that I jumped from that bus. Good sound, a bit harsh sometimes. I like to play it with open tunings, glass slide and dirty sound :)

My favorite! It's an old el-cheapo guitar from the 80s (brand: Satellite, Japan again). I bought it 80 Euros, it is made in laminated wood but the sound is so SWEEEEET, just like an old Strat. The paintings are some reminiscence of my teenager years. And yes, I change its shape too.
This Framus (Germany) is actually one of my friend. I just asked him if I could take care of it, clean it and change some parts (I love doinf this kind of stuff !)
My first love, a Vantek from Asia
My old faithful Aria T-65. I still have a lot of fun with it. Just changed one pickup for a SD Jeff Beck, but the sound is too powerful for me, gotta change it for a PAF.
My last one. I bought it 50CHF, born in 1978. The brand is Alhambra and the sound is rather good

    I have the same Vantek i think, VIS-1G model. How much is it worth? The strings on mine sit very high up it kills my fingers!

    Hi Donogh,

    I bought the guitar abt 300 Euros 15 years ago, this is my 1st guitar ;)
    This is a good guitar for playing folk music, I changed the bridge (strings are lower now) and it is now more easy to play.

Mil Mi-6 Hook cockpit (Aviation museum of Riga, Latvia)

This huge baby welcomes you when you get inside the aviation museum of Riga. Before being replaced by the Mil Mi-26 Halo, the Mi-6 was the biggest helicopter in the world.  This aircraft was repainted by the museum. Needless to say that when the guy of the museum asked me if I wanted to get inside this monster I was about to poop in my pants :-) Portboard landing gear I was lucky enough to get inside the monster and discover a museum full of soviet-era stuff Some access door on the ceiling Seat inside the nose of the monster Inside the nose (portboard) Starboard side of the nose +  my hairy arm as a bonus Above pilot's head

Messerschmitt Bf-109 E3 Walkaround

Walkaround of the Messerschmitt Bf-109 E3 (J-355; Werk NummerlFactory Number 2422) exhibited at the Swiss Air Force Museum at Dubendorf Air Base near Zurich, Switzerland.
